What the 'Good Times' collection is all about
In April I reached out to Caitlin and Jana from *Glitterstudio - a graphic design duo from here in The Hague to collaborate on a capsule for the summer. As The Netherlands was making its way out of our COVID19 hibernation and into good weather with fewer restrictions, the goal for this project was twofold: To support local businesses, and to remind people of the good times - the ones behind us, and the ones ahead. I wanted Caitlin and Jana to create something in their unique artistic style, and keep the message positive. Alas, 'Good Times' was created.
But "keeping it local" didn't stop there. The artwork is designed by *Glitterstudio, the screen printing on the garments is done by Kees Knap Zeefdruk, the labels are sewn in by Veronika Konvickova (@veronika.konvickova, a Czech local to The Hague and very good friend to Sub Native), the photographs by Kendrick Dettmers (@offkendrick_) and the risograph prints done by De Oproer. Caitlin is the female model, and Andrew van de Looi- a friend and DJ from Groningen - is the male model.
